Joe has twenty-eight years in the Information Technology and Business search and recruiting business in technical and business executive level searches with the firm. He has successfully led and completed searches for senior business executives and technology management, including CIO’s, CTO’s and IT Directors, Applications/Software Development and/or Technical Services Vice Presidents and Directors, architects and principal design/engineering individuals, technology specialists in data base development/administration, software development, data warehouse and business intelligence, network design/administration, information security, and system-level positions. Joe has also led successful manufacturing, engineering and financial services executive searches.
Joe holds the Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) credential, and his academic credentials were earned at the University of Washington. Joe is a member of the Northwest Recruiters Association (NWRA) and National Personnel Associates, (NPA), a worldwide member-owner recruiting networking organization. Joe is one of the three principals of the firm and leads executive level and technical searches, management, and business development activities with the firm. Prior to joining Houser Martin Morris, Joe was an IT leader with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and a computer facilities management consulting firm.
On most Friday afternoons, Seattle weather notwithstanding, you will find Joe out on the golf course marketing to clients and or candidates. Joe’s significant golf achievement occurred in 2000 in the form of a Hole-In-One in a men’s club tournament, a 146-yard, on-the-fly, dead-into-the-cup, Hole- In-One.

Jerilyn (Jeri) Shearer, Director of Factory Automation, for the past twenty eight years has worked exclusively with clients across North America at all levels of recruiting and staffing in the machine tool and factory automation product sectors. Her client’s products reflect the broad scope of equipment used in manufacturing. Jeri brings added value to clients in the recruiting process because of her specialization and knowledge of the disciplines of the machine tool and factory automation industry, and the long-term relationships she has built with clients and top talent in the industry. Jeri joined the staff of Houser Martin Morris in 1997. She began her career with Management Recruiters International in Minneapolis and in 1989 was recruited by Cook Associates in Chicago to be director of the factory automation department. Numerous awards and distinctions during her career include President’s Club, CSAM certification and Recruiter of the year. Jeri opened the Minneapolis Midwest office in 2006.
She holds a degree in journalism and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Antioch University in Communications.
The STEM education program conducted in nationwide PLTW schools and training of future workers for manufacturing is a primary interest for Jeri and she is on the advisory board for the STEM program at her local high school.

Kathy Holert directs the firm’s research function for Houser Martin Morris and manages searches in the Human Resources, Legal, Manufacturing and Sales areas.
Kathy joined Houser Martin Morris in May of 1996 as the on-site project manager for a local client to coordinate the interviewing, testing, qualification, and evaluation and hiring of forty candidates in a three-month period. Her search and research work includes successful senior management and executive searches in a variety of industries.
Born in New Jersey, Kathy began her career with IBM in Princeton at a Division Headquarters location as Administrative Assistant to the Director of Marketing and was transferred to Seattle to manage a marketing project for IBM at Boeing. Her fifteen years experience with IBM includes project management, marketing to government and large accounts, and technical support and training to IBM regional staff.
After leaving IBM, Kathy did consulting to small and start-up businesses, automating their offices, as well as designing their training, marketing and benefits programs.
Kathy is an active volunteer and community member at both the board and direct volunteer levels.

Veann Fish, our Senior Research Associate, heads the firm’s research in areas of Sales, Manufacturing and IT and handles administrative functions for Houser Martin Morris. The research staff at Houser Martin Morris assists in developing a detailed position description and determines a target list of all source companies, potential candidates, client referrals and network contacts.
Veann joined Houser Martin Morris in May of 1990 as the firms Receptionist and Administration Assistant, and then worked her way into research. Veann has been successful in locating and placing candidates in senior management, sales and engineering searches in a variety of industries.
Veann is active in Boxer rescue and promoting the adoption of rescued animals of all breeds.

Bob Holert is a veteran of the recruiting business for Houser Martin Morris with an exceptional track record of identifying and attracting talented, hard to find professionals for Pacific Northwest based clients since 1977. His diversity of recruiting experiences and business understanding have positioned him to successfully complete a wide variety of Information Technology as well as Accounting and Finance Executive and key contributor roles. In Information Technology, key positions filled include Chief Information Officer, Vice President Information Technology, Director IT, Director Software Engineering and Manager, Project Management Office. In Accounting and Finance, key positions filled include Chief Financial Officer, Controller, Division Controller and various management, project management and analyst roles.
Bob has the title of President of Houser Martin Morris. Bob spent nine years with the IBM Corporation, three in administration and the last six in sales and marketing. He joined Houser Martin Morris in 1977 with responsibility for the recruitment of management, analytical and technical information systems professionals. In 1982, he became a partner in the firm, and he has functioned in his present role, President and Managing Partner, since 1990.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Washington, with his undergraduate studies in Business and his MBA concentration in Finance. He is a passionate Husky, the school from which his son and daughter also graduated. Like many “split” families in Washington, he will admit his sister is a Cougar. Bob is an active member of Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club, “the best darn Rotary Club in the World”. Bob and his wife live in the Bridle Trails area of Kirkland.

Peter Biege, General Manager, Houser Martin Morris is a native of the Pacific Northwest. He is a proven executive with 25+ years of sales and executive management experience in the information technology industry. He previously held leadership positions at Xerox Corporation, Apple Computer, Honeywell Information Services, Crown Zellerbach and Emulex.
Since joining Houser Martin Morris in 2001 he has specialized in recruiting senior executives in the technology arena. His clients include; Amazon, Microsoft, Attachmate/WRQ, Bsquare, GoAhead Software, Inxight Corporation, Executive Conversation, Verdiem, DocuSign, SNAPin and other technology companies headquartered in the Northwest.
Prior to joining Houser Martin Morris, Peter was a partner in Pyramid Technical Services, a Bellevue, WA based IT staffing company. While at Pyramid he served as President and successfully negotiated the acquisition of the company to Cotelligent Corporation, a publicly traded company.
Prior to Pyramid, he served as Vice-President and General Manager of InterConnections, a subsidiary of Emulex Corporation, a networking and communications company. In addition to his duties at InterConnections he served as a corporate officer for Emulex. During his tenure he assisted in the transforming and restructuring of Emulex into a leader in the fibre channel industry.

Peter earned his Bachelor of Science degree in History at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.
